Sassy Ava is an accessories house. We make three things — pieces for the hair, scarves in pure silk, and sunglasses — and we make them properly, in small, considered runs, from materials chosen to be worn for years rather than seasons.
The house began with a simple conviction: the finishing piece is never an afterthought. A bow cut from silk velvet, a scarf whose edges are rolled and stitched by hand, a frame polished until it sits exactly right — these are the details an outfit is remembered by, and they deserve the same seriousness as the clothes they complete.
Three crafts, one standard
Hair. Our bows, headbands, clips and pins are built around closures that actually hold — steel French barrettes, strong jaw clips, pins set by hand — and finished in silk velvet, double-faced satin, crystal, pearl, leather and tortoise acetate.
Silk. Every scarf is 100% mulberry silk, printed on both faces and finished with hand-rolled, hand-stitched edges. We cut generously — full squares that knot, drape and tie properly — because a scarf that cannot be worn three ways is not finished.
Sun. Our frames are acetate and metal, fitted with lenses that block 100% of UVA and UVB rays, and sized honestly: the measurements on every product page are the real ones, taken from the frame itself.
How we work
We keep the range edited on purpose. Each design earns its place, stays in the collection while it deserves to, and is checked piece by piece before it is wrapped. Colours are chosen to live with a wardrobe, not to chase a moment.
If you ever need us — a question about fit, a scarf you are choosing between, a frame you want measured twice — write to us at sassyava@outlook.com. A person answers.
