Orders and shipping

How long will my order take?

Orders are prepared and dispatched within 1–3 business days. Standard delivery within the United States is estimated at 5–10 business days from dispatch. You will receive a confirmation email when you order and a second email with tracking when your order leaves us. The full detail is on our Shipping & Returns page.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. The methods and estimated timeframes for your address are shown at checkout before you pay. For orders delivered outside the United States, customs duties and import taxes may apply and are the responsibility of the recipient unless shown as included at checkout.

Can I change my address or order?

If the order has not been dispatched, usually yes — write to us at sassyava@outlook.com as early as possible. Once an order has been dispatched we cannot change its address.

Returns and exchanges

What is your return policy?

You may return eligible items within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unworn and unused, with their tags and original packaging. Returns must be authorised first — email us at sassyava@outlook.com with your order number and we will send the return instructions. Approved refunds go to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of approval.

Can I exchange instead of returning?

Yes. The fastest route is to return the original for a refund and place a new order. If you would prefer a direct exchange — the same scarf in another colourway, a different frame — email us and we will arrange it where stock allows.

What if my order arrives damaged or wrong?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at sassyava@outlook.com with a clear photograph of the problem. We will offer a replacement or a full refund for the affected item — your choice — and cover any return shipping if we need the item back.

Products and materials

Are your scarves really silk?

Yes — 100% mulberry silk, including the chiffon shawl. Every edge is rolled and stitched by hand. The fabric, dimensions and finish of each scarf are listed on its product page.

Do your sunglasses protect against UV?

Yes. Every lens in the collection blocks 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Each product page lists the frame's measurements (lens–bridge–temple, in millimetres) so you can match them against a pair you already own; our Size & Fit Guide explains how to read them.

Will a barrette hold fine / thick hair?

Our bows close with steel French barrettes, which fasten cleanly in all hair types. For very fine hair, close the barrette over a smaller gathered section; for very thick hair, place the bow over a low ponytail. The Size & Fit Guide has fuller notes by closure type.

Gifts

Can I send an order as a gift?

Yes. Hair pieces and scarves are wrapped ready for giving, and sunglasses arrive in a protective hard case. For returns on gifts: if the order was marked as a gift and sent directly to you, we will issue gift credit for approved returns; otherwise the refund goes to the gift giver's original payment method.
